Ibiza legend Tony Pike passes away
It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Ibiza legend Mr Tony Pike.
Tony first opened his doors to Pikes in 1978, the hotel grew to become a hotspot for celebrities and Ibiza party goers alike; with such famous faces as Freddie Mercury, George Michael and Liam Gallagher all becoming regular visitors.
Pike's Hotel has seen residencies from the likes of Artwork, DJ Harvey and Leon Vynehall in recent years. Firmly taking its place in the history books of dance music, as a place for young hedonists looking to engage in a completely different atmosphere that couldn't be found anywhere else on the island.
Tony had a vision for a place that was accepting of absolutely everyone, a place that was free of judgement and exclusivity; this is something that has always resonated with us here at Sense Traxx and is an example to follow for all.
