STRXX0012 - James Curd featuring Fuzzy Cufflinxxx - Balloon Talk
Things are heating up in the Sense Traxx Camp just now! We're back with another 4 tracker, This time from Chicago Born James Curd, featuring Fuzzy Cufflinxxx on the vocals this time. The lead track is a sleazy analogue jam, set at a lovely tempo, this record is just plain sexy. One for those summer evenings when things are just getting going. The small talk's done, the drinks are poured and it's time to migrate to the floor. On remix duties is Junior Sanchez, hailing from New Jersey and has produced material for Madonna, Gorillaz and Daft Punk. He's given us a four to the floor club rub of Balloon Talk, making excellent use of the vocals and whipping the bassline into shape. And for those wanting things more raw, there's a dub cut of this mix too for the sweaty basement ravers. Lastly, but by no means least is London Resident Made By Pete, and genuine up and comer, with releases pending on Kerri Chandlers MadTech imprint, music already on Defected, Toolroom & Simma Black just to name just a few. A more techy edge to this, chunky bassline and brings back in those wonderful piano sounds from the original! We recommend playing all of them at REALLY high volume.
