STRXX009 - CASSIMM - Never Mind
Spring has sprung and we're back, hatching outstanding single coming from CASSIMM. Never Mind is a no nonsense jackin' floor monster! Lead by a thunderous bottom end and backed up with lovely stabs and a lush vocal in the breakdown. One for the basement dancers.
So then, remixes this time from New York based Greco! With tasty releases on Nervous and Simma Black, we welcome him to the Sense Traxx stable. He's offered a dubbier cut of Never mind, using those stabs to give the track a more 90's feel, but still keeping it raw with driving bassline and super tough drums! Mad Villains on the second remix of Never Mind, he has also chosen a more raw feel to his mix, with razor sharp percussion and a super heavy kick!
This isn't just a mindless thumper though, some excellent intricate melodies run though this one. stabs 'n' pads. Midnight roller this one!
Lastly, but by no means least, our very own Tom Jay gives us his interpretation. This is a deeper, grooiver cut. As ever with Tom, stunningly executed, the drums cut through like a knife and the vocals follow the mood of the record beautifully. With hints of US Garage and deep house this is one youll want if you're playing a warm up. a real builder! Well there you have it folks. sick back, relax and turn these up!
