Sense Traxx - Best of 2018
With 2018 coming to an end, Sense traxx have put together some of what we feel were the best tracks of the year from a wide range of artists; in playlist form to soundtrack your entry into 2019.
Being a huge year for dance music, with many fresh new faces appearing amongst the crowd of well established producers and artists; 2018 shaped up to be one of the biggest yet for a lot of labels including ourselves. A year when for the first time in a long time dance music made the transition into the popular music charts and seemingly is now there to stay in the future.
looking back this past year it was filled with disco samples, acid bass lines and catchy jackin' hooks. The return of the 90's stab was ever present in tracks such a 'Body' by up and comer 'kettama'; alongside classic house veteran 'DJ Sneak' on his collaboration with 'Blakkat' the groove heavy 'Guttah Bucket'.
The playlist we have curated is by no means an order of merit, but is a collection of brilliant tracks from the year just gone; if 2018's releases are anything to go by then 2019 is definitely something to look forward to.
